In-person initiatives

"Door to Door Meetings": born from the “Casas com Histórias Talks", they were renamed for being held, since 2017, in different places and with different partnerships. They are thematic events that promote debate around topics related to houses and their inhabitants, from the perspective of each guest.

Theme oriented walks: especially related to people, crafts, festivities, anniversaries and local events. In the parishes of São Pedro and Curral das Freiras, the festive cycles of Christmas and Easter, as well as other events, were marked through these commented routes.

Autonomous thematic routes: we regularly publish information about routes that can be taken independently. In Funchal, there are suggestions related to the traditions of popular saints, on the occasion of the festivals of São João da Ribeira and São Pedro; and in Curral das Freiras, with the traditions of the Holy Spirit, the feast of the patron saint Nossa Senhora do Livramento and the Christmas season, as well as some of the most important times of the some of the most important times of the agricultural cycles.
